Welcome to my own website. This is just a big show and tell of all the different crafts I do. If you don't know the story behind my title for today, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2akt3P8ltLM , it has become a common phrase in Australia. I am not happy with the threads in my cross-stitch kit. It gives what DMC numbers they are but they are not DMC threads. Very few of the colours blend together. In the first photo you can see what I got done, and you can hardly see the different between the light and medium browns. 
It looks very different in the photo on the front cover. 
I've put aside all the threads (I'm sure someone at patchwork could use them) and I'm starting anew. I have unpicked what I did and I'll start again with all DMC threads. Hopefully it will turn out better. |
